A quiet, welcoming place hidden in the heart of an interesting town in the heart of a greatly underappreciated part of England.
Great youth hostel with all the amenities you would expect, we went as a large group which they don't normally do. Prices were reasonable and the facilities were all in good condition.
West St, Leominster HR6 8EP, UK – 01568 616347
Very pleasant stay. Great breakfast, big enough to satisfy any appetite. Friendly staff. Room well appointed although trouble flushing the toilet on our final morning which we reported, so hopefully the hotel will fix this for the next guest. We were evacuated for a short time on our first night while the National Grid people were called due to a suspected gas leak. It was quickly sorted and the hotel served us complementary coffee during the call out. The kitchen was closed for hot food that night so we were also given complementary sandwiches and a round of drinks from the bar.
We couldn't fault the roast dinner at all. Cosy little place, friendly staff & very relaxed. Would've been happy to spend a night there but just popped in for lunch.
